Do you know that as a child, every night before sleeping, I used to have my hands intertwined like this? As the street lights pierced through the bedroom’s windows and cast shadows on the wall, I saw myself flying like a bird.
That bird has grown up, flown high, been to different places and met other birds. But sometimes, it doesn’t know how to stop and loses its direction. When that happens, I always make a “shadow-bird” so that lost bird could see it and find a way back home again.
Art work from high school. Makes me wish I should have approached art a little sooner. There are so many things to learn for such a tiny brain. But, as they say it is never too late, I’m going to make the small become the big.
